ARKANSAS—The Central Arkansas Spokesman Club held its annual ladies day luncheon June 29, celebrating the completion of another club season and the graduation of club member Larry Watkins.

Members of the club and their guests met at Mount Magazine Lodge in the Ozark Mountains for the club meeting and meal.

“I really enjoyed this ladies luncheon, because not only were the food and fellowship great, but getting to share the club experience with the men is such a pleasure,” guest Barbara Chadwick said.

Topicsmaster Sam Boren led the tabletopics portion of the event, engaging club members, wives and guests with stimulating questions.

“During tabletopics, there were more responses from the ladies than the men, and that was the goal, because this day was for the ladies, and the focus was to engage them and make them feel they were part of the meeting,” Boren said.

Club director Robert Brown evaluated the topics session. After the speech portion of the event, he evaluated the speakers and delivered the closing lecture.
