The PCG has an expansive literature library including dozens of books, periodicals, booklets and much more.
Uncovering Life’s Mysteries
The Philadelphia Church of God publishes a vast amount of literature, ranging from short reprint articles to magazines to full-length books. Keeping in mind the scriptural principle “freely you have received, freely give,” the Church offers all of its literature at no cost and with no solicitation.
The flagship magazine of the PCG is the Philadelphia Trumpet. The Trumpet analyzes world news and social trends in light of biblical prophecy, bringing a fresh, accurate approach to current events. The Trumpet, which has a readership of over 1 million, shows how daily headlines in the pages of your newspaper are directly linked to living prophecies in the pages of your Bible, and offers the inspiring hope that comes with the knowledge that God is in control of today’s tumultuous world events.
The Church also produces Royal Vision, a bimonthly magazine devoted to Christian living. Royal Vision explores the incredible human potential, the inspiring purpose for marriage, why family and other subjects, such as prayer, Bible study, meditation, fasting and the Holy Spirit. The magazine also explores specific, practical, biblical ways to improve your Christian life.
In all, the Church produces more than 60 books and booklets, in addition to its magazines. These publications include 19 titles by Herbert W. Armstrong, obtained through a six-year legal battle against the Worldwide Church of God, which attempted to use the books’ own copyrights to keep them out of print.
The PCG now prints and distributes freely Mystery of the Ages, Mr. Armstrong’s final and greatest work. Mystery of the Ages reveals the Bible’s answers to life’s deepest and most pertinent mysteries, and has been requested by hundreds of thousands of people around the world. Other popular titles by Herbert W. Armstrong include The United States and Britain in Prophecy, The Incredible Human Potential, The Wonderful World Tomorrow, Which Day Is the Christian Sabbath? and others.
In addition to Mr. Armstrong’s literature, the Church publishes an extensive library of books and booklets covering a wide range of subjects. Many, such as Germany and the Holy Roman Empire, The King of the South, and Jerusalem in Prophecy, analyze and explain Bible prophecies recorded for our day, linking them to headline current events. Other booklets, such as Why Marriage! Soon Obsolete?, Repentance Toward God, The Seven Laws of Success and The Proof of the Bible, look at Christian principles of living, trends in society and other subjects.
The Church also publishes the Herbert W. Armstrong College Bible Correspondence Course, a monthly program with over 30 installments, each addressing a specific biblical subject and proving basic doctrines through Scripture.
All of the Church’s literature is founded on the content and authority of the Holy Bible.
You can access nearly all of the church’s literature library online at theTrumpet.com. As with ordering hard copies of the literature, your subscription to the Trumpet is simple and completely free.
