Royal Vision covers a wide range of Christian living subjects.
Equipping the Mind With Royal Vision
The PCG publishes Royal Vision, a bimonthly Christian-living magazine available to members, co-workers and anyone else who requests a subscription. Royal Vision was first published in 1998 with a circulation of 7,500 and has grown to 17,500 since then. Like all the church’s literature and other media, the magazine is free.
Whereas the Church’s flagship magazine, the Philadelphia Trumpet, is geared toward people unfamiliar with the PCG’s message, Royal Vision provides the deep biblical articles needed for spiritual growth and development among Church members and others. It contains Bible-based articles addressing the most important subjects in Christian life.
Articles about marriage, for instance, explore the inspiring origins of the institution, its purpose and how to improve your relationship with your spouse. Articles regarding child rearing cut through human reasoning and hypotheses, bringing out solid biblical principles outlined specifically in God’s Word. Subjects range from the purpose of human life to how to pick out toys for your children.
Histories from the Bible highlight the real-life experiences of godly men and women. Series on King David, Joseph and others paint some of history’s most valuable life lessons in vibrant, living color.
Article titles have included “Break Through to God,” “Your Spiritual Hotline,” “Help in Resolving Offenses,” “How to Use the Holy Spirit,” “The Spiritually Valiant Woman,” “Build the Faith of Jesus Christ!,” “How to Transform a City!,” “Where Does Sin Begin?,” “The Cure for Shopping Addiction,” and others.
Other sections include question-and-answer forums, biblical proofs of important doctrines and the serialization of the autobiography of Herbert W. Armstrong, to which the church purchased the copyrights following a six-year legal battle.
