Minnesotans Make Memories at Pizza Party
Activity involves sauce, toppings and flying dough

MINNESOTA—Twenty members of the Minnesota congregation of the Philadelphia Church of God built, baked and bit into a variety of homemade pizzas on Dec. 5, 2015, during a “create your own pizza” party.

The event started off with voluminous laughs, as each participant made chef hats and aprons to wear while making pizza.

“Making chef hats and aprons and then making our own pizza crust was the difference between a fun pizza party and a very memorable event,” member Melody Aldrich said.

After the dough was mixed, some even dared to toss their dough into the air like genuine Italian pizza makers. Each person, young and old, lined up to build their own pizza masterpieces, choosing from an assortment of toppings. Once baked and bitten into, the pizzas received rave reviews.

Said 7-year old Katelyn Aldrich, “The pizza was really yummy!”
