Year-End Contributions Due by December 31
Donations can be counted on 2017 taxes only if they meet the deadline.

EDMOND—The Philadelphia Church of God business office said in November that those who want to deduct their contributions to the Church on their 2017 taxes must meet two requirements. The United States Internal Revenue Service requires that checks or money orders must be dated for the 2017 calendar year, and requires that they must be postmarked on or before Sunday, December 31.

Those who wish to drop off a donation at PCG headquarters in Edmond, Oklahoma, must do so by December 28 (the last business day of the year). Note that there can be no exceptions. Donations dated or received after December 31 can only be deducted from your 2018 taxes.
